Hello all! It's me again!
I just thought I'd give a little love to the two people who follow me here with little update. Pretty much everything that's been going on has been ok. I've got quite a few projects planned and I might start posting videos here as well.
A little while ago I applied for the partnership, and I didn't really get a response of any kind so I guess I'm ineligible. Doesn't really matter though, the only money I actually make is from the chores I do in my house. 20 or 30 dollars every two weeks is a quite a lot, in the realm of being paid a little versus not being paid at all.
I'm saving up a lot of my money so I can afford a few new pieces of equipment for making videos, as well as some accesories that make things easier. I'm planning on getting another camcorder, some microphones, maybe a chroma key kit, and some lighting equipment. The cosmetic stuff is pretty small too, maybe just like props, or something like that.
However, we have a gaming show that we play a lot of classic retro games on, and I was planning on buying some USB retro game pads designed after the systems we play. NES, SNES, Genesis, and all that jazz. It would actually be useful, since our current controllers can be hard to understand and take some getting used to when playing a game. It would make things move a little faster, even if you've never played the game before. You can easily figure out how to play a game on the NES with the controller for that system, since you only have so many buttons. Honestly though it's something that I've been wanting to do for a while, but USB gamepads are so expensive, especially when you're looking to get at least two of everything.
But besides that I've been trying to not hate myself on a daily basis, which is difficult when you have depression. Sometimes I think it would be easier if I was dead, but then I have to push that though from my mind as it gives me a panic attack.
Anyway, I hope all of you have a nice day! I'll keep ya'll posted.
